Three Day Quote Challenge! Day One!

A lovely lady and friend, Aga from Mish Mash, has nominated me for the “3 Day Quote Challenge.” Okay, yes, her name is actually Agnieszka Aneta Przerwa, but, um…just TRY saying that without a blunder. Hmm…

If you’ve visited my blog before, you know that I adore quotes of all kinds. And the rules for this challenge are, thankfully, easy to fulfill:

…Thank the person who nominated you. Thanks, Aga!

…Post a quote for 3 days, and explain why it appeals to you.

…Nominate bloggers each day!

So, here goes. Day one…Quote one…

“Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in the quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow.”

Mary Jean Iron

My happiest moments ever are those moments when nothing is actually “happening.” When it’s just me, and Mother Nature, and those that I love peacefully existing side-by-side, without the need to speak, or entertain. When the sun hits my face, when the wind ruffles my hair, when the birds sing me a lullaby, when the softness of a flower’s petal tickles my fingers…how lovely, how normal, how great a treasure this “nothingness” is. And I do learn from it, I do love it, and I most certainly bless it before it departs. For me, “rare and perfect” is living in the present moment. What more could I ever need, or want…

Today, I nominate, for this challenge:

The Stories In Between

My Mind Escaping in Ink

Ray of Light 144

In A Messy World

Jessy

Don’t sweat it, take your time. As Winnie the Pooh says…”In case of Sudden and Temporary Immersion, the Important Thing is to Keep the Head Above Water.” by A. A. Milne

Yes, it’s taken some time, but I now completely love the “ordinary.” Thank you for your thoughtful comment.
